Beryls Hope

'Information is power, ignorance is bliss.seek to know then make an informed choice what to do with the knowledge'. Beryl Otumba

Do you ever wonder what a fair functional and sustainable world would look like?

  • A world where everyone knew their worth and rights and settled for nothing less.   Where race, ethnicity, religion, sex and sexual orientation ceased to be the measurement of capability or value; where equality of all humans was celebrated, multi- culturalism honoured and integration of all in a society was a right rather than a privilege.
  •   A world where individuals, politicians, national, international and state decision-making organs prioritised the conservation, sustainable use and development of the environment and natural resources; upon which human lives are sustained.
  • A world where children's issues made it to the priority list of any government, organisation and even household.
  • A world where every human being took responsibility for their actions and consequences thereby, where people became more in touch with their strengths and weaknesses did all to be their own personal bests.
  • A world where loved thrived better than hate, where faith and hope rode over despair and where forgiveness ran deeper than rage.

These are the principles that define my core and my existence and it is upon them that this organization is grounded.

Do you want to be the individual, the group, government or organization that creates this world?   Well I do:

  • I believe that a sustainable world is attainable.   That with change of attitudes, beliefs and behaviours, sustainable use and development of our natural, physical, socio-economic, and human resources can become a reality.

This website/organization is dedicated to anyone and everyone who have:

  • Lost a loved one, a dream or a fight.
  • Been made to feel worthless; whose dignity have been compromised in any way.
  • NOT lost the fight yet, people who still believe a brighter sustainable tomorrow is possible.
  • Sacrificed their own comfort in order to sustain others' lives/future.
  • Actualised their existence.   People who have successfully discovered the persons they are and thereby, their purposes in life and with this discovery have taken it upon themselves to never let anyone define them or their abilities.

This site is also dedicated to all orphans who have seen the light of day but also to all others still lost in the pains, loneliness, and socio-economic challenges of orphan hood.
